Order No. 16/2025 approving the Coastal and Adjacent Sea Zone Management Plan (POOC_M) for the island of Sal.

This Order approves the Management Plan for the Coastal Zones and Adjacent Sea of the island of Sal (POOC_M), whose Regulations and illustrative graphics are published in the Annex. The preparation of the POOC_M for the island of Sal was determined under Decree-Law No. 61/2018 of 10 December, which amends and republishes the National Territorial and Urban Planning Regulation and Decree-Law No. 14/2016 of 1 March, regulating the process of drawing up and implementing Coastal and Adjacent Sea Zoning Plans, the Basic Law on Territorial and Urban Planning and the National Regulation on Territorial and Urban Planning. The main objective of the POOC_M do Sal is the integrated management of the territory and the coastline, establishing rules for the occupation, use and transformation of the land within its scope and the regime for the protection of natural resources and values.
