Abstract
This Order, consisting of 15 articles and two Annexes, regulates the issuing of the Seaman's Book, under article 3 of Decree-Law No. 04/2000 of 14 February on the Regulation for Maritime Registration of Merchant and Fishing Vessels. It establishes standards, requirements, procedures and all the needed information to obtain the Maritime Certificate, which renewable validity is 10 years.
