Order No. 58/84 establishing measures against the so called "centipede" pest.

This Order establishes control measures against the so called centipede pest, by prohibiting the trade, transport, or any other kind of possible proliferation of such a pest. By the date of entry into force of the present Order, no plant transport shall be possible unless accompanied by a phytosanitary authorization granted by the Delegation of the Ministry of Rural Development (art. 2). Article 4 deals with powers of pesticides inspectors who must monitor the implementation of ministerial regulations. The transport of contaminated plants shall be subject to penalties (art. 5).
