This Order approves the Ecotourism Plan of Protected Areas Complex within the southeast of the Sal island (PECAPS). This Plan, consisting of 5 Chapters, establishes a special tool for territorial planning which establishes the spatial framework, integrating the mapping, the synthesis zoning and their regulations, governing the modalities of ecotourism activities, ecotourism facilities and cultural events, security and protection, population, public and private organizations and participatory process, fees and penalties for illegal activities.
