This Regulatory Decree regulates the physical and normative definition of the Port Jurisdiction Zone of Porto de Palmeira, on the island of Sal, referred to as Porto da Palmeira ZJP, and, for this purpose, establishes the physical, land and maritime limits of the territory assigned to the port, taking into account current and foreseeable future needs in the legal framework of the port system, under Legislative Decree No. 10/2010, of 1 November approving the Ports Law of Cape Verde.
