This Regulatory Decree No. 16/2024 regulates the system for operating and marketing Tourist Complementary Accommodation. This services can be carried out throughout the national territory, including rural areas, as long as they comply with specific requirements. In particular, it regulates rights and obligations of users and service providers of complementary accommodation, complementary accommodation establishments, their licensing and registration, their operation and functioning, intermediation and marketing companies, as well as the sanctioning regime.
