Abstract
This Resolution approves the National Strategy for the Promotion of Decent Employment (ENPED) for the period 2022-2026. ENPED is structured around the following three areas of intervention: a) 1. Employability and insertion of young people and women through education and professional training; b) 2. Capacity to generate qualified employment and self-employment in all sectors of economic activity; It is c) 3. Increased ability to articulate the employment policy. ENPED's overall objective is to contribute to maximizing the effectiveness of public employment policies, accelerating economic and social growth and expanding the demographic dividend. In particular, ENPED focuses on youth employment, which constitutes an effective priority for organizing the inter-institutional agenda, whose effectiveness should be measured in terms of the impacts generated in terms of: Improving the youth employment situation and employability; Improved participation of women and vulnerable groups in the labor market; Increased effectiveness of public policy and institutional response capacity; Expansion of the demographic dividend; Economic acceleration.
