Resolution No. 15/2013 approving the Concession to the society Island Seafood Processing Industry Lda.

This Resolution approves the agreement between the Republic of Cape Verde and the society called Island Seafood Fish Processing Industry Lda, for a fish processing concession under the control of competent authorities, according to Law No. 90/IV/93 of 13 December and Law No. 85/VII/2011. The above mentioned Agreement aims at establishing rights, duties and incentives in which the two Parts are committed in order to facilitate the implementation of activities related to the “Industrial Unit” for processing and commercialization of fish products, and building within the “Cova de Inglesa” area, a Development Industrial Centre in S. Vicente. The specific objectives of the Parts are: implementation of conservation fabric for fish processing basically for exportation purpose; building of fish infrastructures (dock); Installment of a processing industry for fish packaging and conservation; Acquisition of desalinated water source unit, a treatment unit for water waste management, other equipments, etc. Start the activities related to the Industrial Unit within 3 years.
