Abstract
This Resolution confers to the National Water and Sanitation Agency (ANAS) the necessary powers to, as a contracting authority, enter into contracts and incur expenses associated with the implementation of the Renewable Energy Project in Cabo Verde, Component 2: Strengthening of photovoltaic energy production capacity for water mobilization, up to the overall maximum limit of $396,351,500.00, to which value added tax (VAT) is added at the legal rate in force, for the following contracts: a) Supply and installation of photovoltaic solar systems for self-consumption in pumping stations operated by the company Águas de Santiago, Sociedade Anônima, and for the operation of groundwater capture wells, for the overall value of R$242,971,500; b) Construction and equipment of the Operational Management Center, in the amount of $103,380,000.00; and c) Construction and equipment of the Operational Management Centre, in the amount of $50,000,000.00.
