Resolution No. 20/2024 creating the Commission responsible for the monitor, follow-up and implementation of the "Little Africa Maio" Project, within the Maio Island Special Economic Zone.

This Resolution creates the Commission responsible for the monitor, follow-up and implementation of the "Little Africa Maio" (LAM), as a structuring project for the Maio Island Special Economic Zone (ZEEIM). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of this Commission, as an interdepartmental entity, entitled to: monitor, coordinate and liaise with the member of the Government responsible for Finance and Business Development. In particular, the Commission is responsible for: Approving the internal regulations, procedures manuals and strategic guidelines for its activities; Approving the annual plan and report; Approving the evaluation report and proposing policies; monitoring activities / components and their impact on the LAM Project; Ensure liaison with public bodies and the private sector; Propose measures, draft legal interventions and other instruments necessary for the functioning of the Commission and the implementation of its objectives; Advertise the main documents related to the implementation of the LAM Project on the electronic portal; Provide information on the measures adopted for the implementation of the Project; etc.
