Resolution No. 2/2022 approving the Cape Verde National Housing Plan 2021-2030 (PLANAH).

This Resolution approves the National Housing Plan of Cape Verde 2021-2030 (PLANAH) whose Synthesis Report includes, the main instrument for the implementation of the National Housing Policies (PNH) and Territorial Planning and Urban Planning (PNOTU), approved, respectively, by Resolution No. 25/2020 and Resolution No. 24/2020, both of 18 February, guaranteeing Cape Verdeans the constitutional right to adequate housing. The seven guiding principles formerly defined by the PNH of Cape Verde are the values and codes of conduct that will accompany the execution of the mission and reach the PLANAH's vision, in particular: (1) Decent housing as a right and vector of social inclusion; (2) Housing sector as an engine of socio-economic development; (3) Establishment of the property's social function; (4) Housing issue as a long-term State policy; (5) Diversified and assured availability of resources; (6) Democratic management with civil society participation; and (7) Protection of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
