Resolution No. 26/2021 approving the subsidy to be awarded to animal breeders on the island of Boa Vista.

This Resolution approves the subsidy to be awarded to animal breeders for the acquisition of feed and hay bales, agreed with the manufacturer and distributor, through vouchers, aimed at maintaining the effective ruminant and food security of the island's breeders of Boa Vista. It applies to all ruminant cattle breeders on the island of Boa Vista. The subsidy is awarded by the Government of Cape Verde as a consequence of the negative socio-economic impacts caused by the COVID 19 pandemic, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in the amount corresponding to 30% of the cost of the concentrated and bulky food purchased, owing to the breeder share with the remaining 70%.
