Resolution No. 36/2025 approving the Environmental Investment Guidelines for the period 2025-2026.

This Resolution, under Decree-Law No. 59/2020, approves the Environmental Investment Guidelines for the period: a) 2025-2026 for municipal projects; and b) 2026 for Central Administration programs and projects and those presented by companies and civil society organizations. For the 2025-2026 period, municipal projects that fall within the scope of the Multiannual Public Investment Plan or other approved sectoral plans and have objectives, results and activities in the following areas are eligible for funding from the Environment Fund: a) Integrated management of solid urban waste; b) Information, awareness-raising and environmental education; c) Basic sanitation through the provision of household water and sewage connections and the construction of toilets; and d) Veterinary Public Health, through the construction and adaptation of slaughterhouses and slaughter sites, animal confinement, through the construction of corrals, pigsties and fields, cemeteries and similar.
