Abstract
This Resolution approves the Cape Verde's Climate Governance Framework, aiming to institutionalize a system that guarantees the exercise of the necessary functions for the implementation of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) and the various international instruments ratified by Cape Verde in the field of Climate Change. The Climate Governance Framework is centred on inclusive processes, institutional coherence and scientific excellence, enabling the implementation of the enhanced transparency framework. The Climate Governance Framework covers the following eight main functions: a) Decision-making; b) Coordination; c) Climate negotiation; d) Knowledge Management and Early Warning System; e) Mobilisation and Management of Climate Support; f) Communication and Awareness Raising; g) Implementation; and h) Transparency, monitoring and evaluation.
