Resolution No. 66/2010 approving the National Plan of Action for Integrated Management of Water Resources (PAGIRE).

This Resolution approves the National Plan of Action for Integrated Management of Water Resources (PAGIRE). This Plan is a National fundamental tool for those who are operating in the domain of water resources, aiming at obtaining a balanced situation between the present water resources use and conservation for the future generations. It also aims at improving the water resources management, in particular in the reduction of wastes, respond to present and future needs for an integrated perspective of the following aspects: water resources use and conservation, environmental and quality of life preservation, stakeholders' participation, including women and less favourite layers in the process of management and economic valorisation of water resources.
