Resolution No. 87/2022 approving the National Strategy for Regional and Local Development.

This Resolution approves the National Strategy for Regional and Local Development. The Strategy aims to combat inter and intra-regional economic asymmetries, thus contributing to equity in access to development opportunities, to increase, from a quantitative and qualitative point of view, the creation of employment in the regions and to improve the quality of life of populations. The National Strategy for Regional and Local Development comprises six major specific objectives: Transforming regional and local production systems; Foster regional and local production; Promote business activities at regional and local level; Qualify the regional and local workforce; Stimulate regional and local technological innovation; and Develop regional and local infrastructure.
