Abstract
This Resolution approves Cape Verde's Digital Economy Strategy (EEDCV) for the period 2024-2030. It establishes the essential institutional framework for digital transformation in the context of Cape Verde's digital economy. The guiding vision of the EEDCV aims to transform Cape Verde into a Digital Nation, promoting digital inclusion, innovation and economic competitiveness, harnessing emerging technologies for sustainable development and driving a cashless economy. The EEDCV is structured around six strategic pillars, each with a guideline that guides its development: a) Digital Infrastructure - The foundation for Sustainable Digital Transformation; b) Capacity Building and Brain Gain - Preparing Society for the Digital Age; c) Market and Innovation - Driving Growth and Competitiveness; d) Governance and Policies - Structuring Digital Transformation with Transparency and Efficiency; e) Inclusion and Sustainability - Ensuring an Equitable and Resilient Digital Future; and f) Security and Resilience - Protecting Digital Infrastructure and Ensuring Continuity.
