Act on energy management.

This Act sets forth the basic legislative framework on energy production and management. It specifies the rights and obligations of individuals and legal persons involved in activities concerning energy production. The Act promotes the rational exploitation of energy natural sources with a view to contributing to environmental protection and sustainable development in the Czech Republic. The Act is composed of the following Sections: (1) Introductory provisions; (2) Definition of energy; (3) National programme on energy management and use of renewable and alternative energy sources; (4) Some proceedings concerning the improvement of used energy management; (5) Inspection and protection of specific interests; (6) Common, transitional and final provisions.
