Act no. 100/2004 on trade in endangered species.

This Act is composed of the following Sections: International trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora and other proceedings concerning protection of these species (Sec. 1); General conditions and essentials of the application for import, export, reexport and transfer of specimen (Sec. 2); Registration of traders and research institutions and exceptions for some cases of export (Sec. 3); Trade in certain specially protected species and products of seal and regulations concerning catching of certain species of marine organisms (Sec. 4); Essentials of permit or certificate for import, export, reexport or transfer of specimen (Sec. 5); Registration of certain specimen and exceptions from prohibition of commercial activities (Sec. 6); Competences of state administration (Sec. 7); Some measures to regulate trade in endangered species (Sec. 8); Control of compliance with the Act (Sec. 9); Administrative offenses (Sec. 10); Registration, reporting and information (Sec. 11); Common and transitional provisions (Sec. 12). This Act lays down provisions concerning protection of endangered species of wild fauna and flora, their controlled trade in accordance with the legislation of the European Community, establishing import and export of wild fauna and flora, import of products of cetacean, import of products of seal, import of moleskin and other articles produces from moleskin. The Act also establishes requirements for the trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora and establishes some other proceedings concerning protection and registration of these species on the territory of the Czech Republic.
