Updated National Implementation Plan For Implementation Of Stockholm Convention On Persistent Organic Pollutants in the Czech Republic for the period 2018-2023.

This second update of the National Implementation Plan as well as the previous version follows the basic objective of the Convention through five core strategic objectives: Elimination of entry of POPs to the environment and reduction of exposure to these substances; Prioritization of solving old environmental burdens, improving public database; Proper disposal of waste containing POPs, focusing on POPs in waste plastics; Effective cooperation of ministries to address this issue; Increasing awareness of newly listed POPs outlined in the following chapter.
