Abstract
The present Agreement between the Federal Government and the Federal coastal states shall create a Central Command for Maritime Emergencies (CCME) to establish and implement a joint emergency management system on the North and Baltic Sea. In the event of serious emergencies at sea involving extensive damage the afore-mentioned Central Command for Maritime Emergencies ensures unified management of resources, including the release of information to the public. The text consists of 12 articles.
