Abstract
The contracting parties agree that the "weak points" listed in the Annex (List of danger spots on the River Oder from a German and Polish perspective) need to be eliminated to guarantee the ice break and inland navigation. The Federal German Waterways and Research Institute in Karlsruhe shall analyse the cross-border areas and prepare a sustainable German-Polish regulatory concept based on the existing flow control structure. Article 4 to 6 lay down provisions relating to the technical elimination of such weaknesses in various cross-border waters. Article 14 establishes a Joint Committee having the task of implementing, accompanying and promoting the present Agreement. Article 15 deals with dispute settlement. The text consists of 18 articles.
