An Agreement between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the Republic of Poland on implementation of the Convention of 25 February 1991 on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context. In particular, the Agreement shall apply to any proposed project that may cause significant adverse transboundary impact on the environment of the territory of the other Party and for which an environmental impact assessment (EIA) is carried out and EIA documentation prepared in accordance with the national legal provisions of the Party of origin. Article 4 - dealing with public participation – specifies that the public of the affected Party shall be entitled to express their comments and objections within such time-frame that is provided for the public of the Party of origin.
