Abstract
The present Law lays down provisions relating to the establishment of an Animal Disease Fund implementing the Federal Animal Disease Act. Article 1 establishes that the above-mentioned Fund shall compensate loss of animals through pest or disease. Moreover, it may grant subsidies to research projects on the prevention animal diseases. The Fund may also cooperate with other Funds of other regions (Länder). The text consists of 16 articles divided into 3 Parts as follows: Animal Disease Fund (1); Implementation of the Animal Disease Act – Official operations, costs and authorization, empowerment (2); Final provisions (3).
