Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Federal Nature Protection Act of 29 July 2009 (BGBl. I p. 2542). Article 1 of the above-mentioned Ordinance authorizes the hunting of cormorants taking into account the considerable damage they inflict on fish stocks. The text consists of 7 articles as follows: Killing of cormorants (1); Breeding colonies and resting places (2); Persons entitled to hunt cormorants (3); Restrictions and suspensions (4); Non-affection of other legislation (5); Compliance with the provisions on reporting and observation of competent authorities of nature and landscape protection (6); Entry into force (7).
