Abstract
The present Ordinance provides for the limited opening of tenders for the support of renewable energies for other EU Member States. In particular, the «Bundesnetzagentur» shall conduct auctions in order to determine the amount of funding for electricity generated from renewable energies. The auctions are open to renewable energy installations located in other Member States of the European Union, provided that international agreements have been signed to this effect. Support for installations shall be granted in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). The text consists of 43 Articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Tender procedure (2); Payments of market premiums under the present Ordinance (3); Penalties (4); The issuing body (5); Provisions for installations in the Federal territory being promoted by a cooperating state (6); International agreement (7); Data protection, legal protection (8). One Annex is enclosed and entitled as follows: Amount of the market premium for electricity from open-air installations feeding electricity into a grid outside the price zone of the Federal Republic of Germany.Article 17 is deleted.
