Abstract
The Ordinance contains at the outset a definition clause referring to various terms therein employed, such as "food producing plants", "water", etc. Articles 3 and 4 deal, respectively, with general hygienic requirements for producing plants and their inspection. The Ordinance consists of 5 articles and 1 Annex.
Moreover, the Ordinance amends the Ordinance of on containers for transport of foodstuff of 13 April 1987. The amendments concern, inter alia, the insertion of article 2(a) dealing with exceptions in the carriage of certain oils and fats by ship. An Annex 2 on Transport of oils and fats by ship shall also be inserted.
