Integrated Administration and Control System Act.

Type of law

The Act provides for the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (GAP) in order to establish new regulations for agricultural support. The present Act serves the implementation of the GAP of the EU, which is to contribute to agriculture, the environment and rural areas with the following objectives: safeguarding domestic food production by supporting sustainable incomes for farmers and providing financial protection against high market risks and competitive disadvantages; supporting the development of rural areas and safeguarding the attractiveness of rural areas; promoting climate, environmental and biodiversity protection; and safeguarding the future also by promoting mechanization and digitalization in agriculture.
The Act consists of 7 Sections: 1. Scope of Application; 2. Application; 3. Control Procedure; 4. Decision Procedure; 5. Data Exchange; 6. Power to Issue Statutory Instruments; 7. Final Provisions.

Entry into force notes
Different parts of this Act come into force on different dates in accordance to Article 18 of the Act.
