Law on the Implementation of the Joint Direct Payments Financed under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP direct payments law).

The Law applies for implementation of the EU Regulation 1307/2013 on direct payments to farmers under support scheme of the Common Agricultural Policy. The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture calculates the indicative allocation of funds for the basic income support on yearly application, starting in 2023. The requirements for the allocation of payment and method of calculation shall be regulated separately based on the age and other characteristics of the animals including for ewes, goats and cows. For implementation of this Law the eco-regulations and eco-schemes shall be considered. The Law is drafted in 36 Articles and 4 Sections referring to General and common provisions (1); Direct payments (2);Actual unit amounts (3) and Further instructions (4). Part 2 of the Law refer to issues of supplementary redistributive income support for sustainability, supplementary income support for young farmers, regulations for climate and environment and coupled income support.
