Abstract
The present Ordinance transposes into German law the Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action in the field of water policy. The text consists of 16 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Surface waters (II); Groundwater (III); Economic analysis (IV); Final provisions (V). Seven Annexes are enclosed.
