Abstract
The outer limit of the territorial sea of Germany shall now be at twelve nautical miles, measured from the low-water line and the straight baselines. All earlier Announcements concerning the delimitation of the German territorial sea shall cease to apply but the Ems-Dollar Treaty between the Netherlands and Germany of 8 April 1960 shall remain unaffected. Delimitation of the territorial sea towards Denmark and the Netherlands shall be decided on a lateral date.
