Abstract
The purpose of the present Ordinance is to regulate competences of authorities in view of the enforcement of the Chemicals Act of 2 July 2008 (BGBl. I p. 1146) and the Cleaning Agents and Detergent Act of 29. April 2007 (BGBl. I p. 600) and other related Ordinances and EU-directives. Article 2 establishes that the supreme executing authority is the competent Ministry for chemicals. The text consists of 9 articles as follows: Sphere of application (1); Supreme Chemical Safety Authority (2); Superior Chemical Safety Authority (3); Lower Chemical Safety Authority (4); Other authorities (5); Competence to issue regulations (6); Violation (7); Transfer of power (8); Entry into force, repeal (9).
