Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Schleswig-Holstein Water Law. In particular, the purpose of the Ordinance is to enforce efficiently the Council Directive 91/271/EEC of 1 May 1991 concerning urban waste water treatment. The text consists of 12 articles as follows: Sphere of application and purpose (1); Definition of terms (2); Sensitive areas (3); Canalisation (4); Discharge of urban waste water (5); Industrial discharge in waters (6); Industrial discharge in canals (7); Monitoring, re-use (8); Facilities (8a); Subsidiarity clause, other requirements (9); Sludge (10); Reports and programmes (11); Entry into force (12). Three Annexes are enclosed.
