Act to amend the Act concerning experiments and testing involving animals and the Act relative to chemical substances and products (No. 315 of 2004).

This Act amends theconcerning experiments and testing involving animals and the Act of 1996 relative to chemical substances and products in relation with regulation-making powers of Ministers and the implementation of EC legislation. As for the Act relative to chemical substances and products, regulation-making concerns the definition of substances that may not be used in the testing on animals. The Act amending the Act concerning experiments and testing involving animals also prohibits the testing on animals with harmful cosmetic products.
