Act on cloning and genetic engineering with animals and related matters (No. 550 of 2005).

This Act provides for the licensing of activities involving cloning or other genetic engineering involving animals. Licences shall be granted by the Animal Experiments Agency. Licences shall be granted for specific purposes such as elementary research and the improvement of public health and the environment. Cloning and genetic engineering shall be done in accordance with specific rules laid down by the Act regulating experiments on animals.
