Act on fields and road peace (No. 61 of 2007).

The purpose of this Act is to enforce upon anyone keeping livestock, full damage liability in case their domestic animals are itinerant elsewhere outside the assigned (privately owned) land. Damages incurred will be subject to replacement and include: bitten or devoured crops, plants and vegetation; broken fences, and water-streams and soil upheaval.
The Act consists of VIII Chapters: General provisions (I); Compensation for damages caused by livestock (II); Keeping of livestock (III); Peace-breaking fines, unruly livestock (IV); Teetering and grazing (V); Grazing on other grounds (VI); Evaluation transactions (VII); Entry into force (VIII).
