Abstract
The Act applies to the reduction of interest costs in agriculture and sets regulations on subsidy for agriculture, horticulture, plant nursery or fur farming. Subsidy shall be granted to farmers whose total debt is equivalent to at least 45% of their total assets. The Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries shall grant subsidies to ensure the farmers' continuation of activities.

Notes
The Act does not apply to Greenland nor the Faroe Islands.
