Abstract
The present Act lays down rules concerning equal pay for men and women. Wage-based discrimination based on gender is prohibited, including direct and indirect discrimination. All employers shall provide equal pay for women and men with respect to all components of wages and wage conditions, for the same work or work of equal value.
