Abstract
This Act regulates substances used to combat plant diseases, weeds, and harmful pests in agriculture, horticulture, and forestry. It defines what qualifies as a plant protection product, requires manufacturers and importers to register their products and maintain records, and mandates detailed labeling of ingredients, including active substances, fillers, and manufacturer information. The law prohibits misleading marketing and forbids the inclusion of components that reduce effectiveness or increase toxicity beyond what is declared. It also establishes state control to verify product compliance and sets penalties for violations.
