Act No. 84 for the Faroe Islands on Land Commissions.

This Act establishes Land Commissions at district and national level to resolve land-related disputes. It sets out the composition, appointment, term and duties of commission members, procedures for initiating cases, notifications, hearings, evidence, site inspections, attempts at mediation, and issuing decisions. It provides rules for appeals from district to national commissions and, in limited cases, to the Supreme Court. The law also regulates costs, allowances, enforcement of decisions, and possible fee waivers for those unable to pay.
