Abstract
This Act contains rules relative to the keeping of pigs for commercial purposes.
The Act consists of 18 sections divided into 8 Chapters: Application sphere of the Act (1); requirements for huts (2); Requirements relative to the farming space, outdoor space, etc. (3); Keeping of pigs in risk-huts (4); Water, feeding, etc. (5); Miscellaneous provisions (6); penal provisions (7); Entry into force, transitional provisions (8).
The Act lies down minimum requirements for the well being and health of the animals kept.
