Abstract
The Act consists of 34 sections divided into 6 Chapters: Scope (1); Financial support schemes (2); support schemes for the starting up of young farmers (3); Common provisions (4); Penal provisions (5); Entry into force (6).
The Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries can grant financial support in relation with investment in farming enterprises (improvement of conditions of work, animals and the environment), training of farmers and foresters, temporary support for drawbacks in specific sectors, and environment protection measures, such as ecological production and the planting of wind breaking fences, development of rural districts, etc. Chapter 4 contains provisions that apply to all granting of financial supports such as administration, control, procedures of application and decision-making, interest on loans, etc.
