Abstract
An Act to provide for the construction, maintenance, and use of and access to harbours. "Harbours" include ports used for the landing of fish for commercial purposes (sect. 1).
The Act consists of 27 sections divided into 7 Chapters: Application sphere of the Act (1); Construction, maintenance and closing down of harbours (2); Access to use of harbours (3); Forms of organization (4); Employment arrangements (5); Rules of orderly use (6); Offences and penalties, entry into force and transitional provisions (7).
Section 6 defines the types of harbours: sate harbours, municipal harbours, municipal independent harbours, public companies partly or completely owned by municipalities; harbours organised by private parties.
