Abstract
This Executive Order, of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, on the approval of disinfectants and corrosion inhibitors in certain food businesses establishes rules for authorizing and labeling such products. It applies to disinfectants used on premises, equipment, and furnishings that come into contact with food, as well as corrosion inhibitors in steam boilers connected to food production. The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration must approve these products before marketing, ensuring toxicological assessment and proven effectiveness. Approved products must meet strict labeling requirements, including use instructions, safety warnings, and storage information. The Administration may revoke approval to protect public health, and existing products were allowed on the market until September 1, 2014. Violations may result in fines for individuals or companies.
