Abstract
The purpose of the Order is to establish net calculation exemption from own production of partial or whole private consumption of electricity. Private producers of electricity from generating plants, which have a nominal electrical output may request to Energinet.dk to have a net metering, which is calculated on an hourly basis and by which the producer is exempted from paying for environmentally friendly electricity. In particular, 50 kW for solar installations (1), 25 kW for wind turbines (2) and 11 kW for heat and power plants not included in 1 and 2.

Notes
Article 16 (section 1, No. 3): Owners of power generation facilities must comply with Energinet.dk's requirement in having a net metering on an annual basis - in adherence to article 5 of Order No. 804 of 28 June 2010 on net metering up to 19 November 2032 - provided that the network company has received notification of the facility's registration in the Master Data Register by 20 December 2012.
