Order No. 1078 amending the Order on grants to municipal wetland projects.

The Order makes amendments with regard to technical definitions of Danish AgriFish Agency and Danish Nature Agency, as well as to the eligibility for financial subsidies of municipal wetland projects. The Danish AgriFish Agency shall decide on full or partial refusal of applications for grants if there is an unjustified total estimated cost of a project, such as: not eligible expenses pursuant to articles 3 (section 3) and article 14 (section 3) of this Order (1); that applications lack sufficient information (2); that the proposed project does not sufficiently contribute to fulfill its purpose (3); or that the proposed projects are not proportionate to their total estimated costs (4).
Grants for the establishment of wetlands may not cover expenditure agreements for the implementation of projects without permission; for expenditures related to projects already financed by other plans and activities such as: the cost of receiving public aid or assistance; the cost of research and technological development; finance and banking costs; the purchase, rental and lease of used equipment; expenses for work on forest reserve land; expenses in the form of benefits provided for in article 54 of the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1974/2006 of 15 December 2006 on the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) 1698/2005 on support for rural development by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
