Abstract
The present Order authorizes the Danish Fisheries Agency support the development and implementation of an EU fisheries control system, as referred to in Article 36 of Regulation No. 2013/1380/EU and further specified in Regulation No. 2009/1224/EU and Regulation No. 2008/1005/EU. These shall contribute to achieving the objectives of the common fisheries policy regarding the promotion of effective fisheries control and enforcement, including combating IUU fishing.
The Order contains 26 Articles organized in the following chapters: 1. Scope of application; 2. Definitions; 3. Administration; 4. Conditions for keeping the subsidies; 5. Expenses eligible for subsidies; 6. Calculation of subsidies; 7. Modification of project and extension of project period; 8. Payment of subsidies; 9. Withdrawal of grants, repayment, and reduction of subsidy; 10. Force majeure; 11. Control; 12. Entry into force.
