Order No. 1401 on adjustment of compensation to certain wind turbines.

Abstract
This Order applies to the balance allowance granted to wind turbines mounted and connected to the grid on 1 January 2014 or later, exception made for these covered by art. 41 of the Act on the promotion of renewable energy, and offshore wind turbines covered by art. 35b, 37. To wind turbines mounted and activated between 21 February 2008 and 31 December 2013, with the exception of these covered by art. 41, 35 and 37 of same Act. And to wind turbines activated latest on 20 February 2008, with the exception of wind turbines subject to surcharges according to art. 39-41 of the same Act, and utility-financed wind turbines connected to the grid by 31 December 1999 in accordance with art. 38 of the Act.
The compensation is equivalent to 02.3 DKK/kWh and is reduced to 01.8 DKK/kWh. The reduction shall apply from the entry into force of this Order. Owners of wind turbines can receive reimbursement for 20 years from network connection, if occurred prior to 1 January 1996, whereby period of calculation of compensation is from that date.
