Abstract
This Order, adopted by the Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark, establishes the Mols Bjerge National Park, with the aim of enhancing and developing nature. It also contains rules on the Mols Bjerge National Park Fund. The Order covers the geographical areas shown in Annex 1. The Mols Bjerge National Park shall be divided into 3 planning zones, as shown in Annex 2. The aim of the Mols Bjerge National Park Fund is to establish and develop the Mols Bjerge National Park. The objectives of the Mols Bjerge National Park are: (1) To preserve, enhance, and develop nature, its diversity, continuity, coherence, and free dynamics, etc.; (2) To preserve and strengthen the landscape and geological values in the unique glacial landscape; (3) To preserve and strengthen the cultural environments and cultural-historical entities and elements within the national park; (4) To enhance opportunities for outdoor activities and special nature and cultural-historical experiences; (5) To promote research, education, etc.; and (6) To support development for the benefit of local communities.
The Order contains 13 Articles organized in the following chapters: 1. Purpose and delimitation; 2. Objectives for the development of the national park; 3. Planning; 4. The National Park Fund Mols Bjerge; and 5. Administrative provisions and entry into force.
