Order No. 1667 on river basin districts and main river basins.

This Order divides Denmark into four river basin districts — Jutland and Funen, Zealand, Bornholm, and the international river basin district — and further subdivides them into 23 main river basins. The geographical boundaries of both the districts and the main river basins are shown in the annexed maps. The classification provides the territorial framework for water planning and implements parts of the EU Water Framework Directive.
